As most security companies we deal with malware, the most
notable difference being that we deal with *a lot* of malware. Designing a
service capable of ingesting over 1M samples per day was challenging, yet we
built a scalable, reliable and resilient one. The service manages connections
with over 30 partners, multiple kinds of APIs and protocols and also a flow of
outgoing samples.

Viorica has started her journey with CrowdStrike as an
intern and now she is a full-time Cloud Engineer. She studied at the Faculty of
Automatic Control in Bucharest and she is currently doing her Master’s there as
well. For a Cloud Developer, she is surprisingly more into low-level technologies
such as Assembly, but no programming language scares her (except Javascript). She
loves fantasy books, cats as well as going to metal concerts.
