Delivering high-performant products for
autonomous driving vehicles and ensuring the safety of the traffic participants
lead to the stringent need for testing them at high standards. This session
will cover the benefits of software testing in simulated environments but also
the aspects on how the traffic simulation tools can be parametrized to provide
more realistic scenarios for better and safer technologies.

Alexandru got in touch with the automotive technologies for the first time as System Test Engineer on Passive Safety and Sensorics (PSS) projects.
In 2015, he started to work as an Algo Test Engineer using Closed-Loop testing methods on some projects from Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) division.
In 2018, he started to work as a pioneer in the Simulation team that was newly founded at that moment in Continental Iasi. As a Simulation Engineer, he created and maintained the Closed-Loop test framework for lateral control functions projects that was delivered to the Algo Testing Team.
In 2020, he took a new opportunity for growing his technical experience on a project for emergency brake assist for autonomous driving function for building an Open-Loop simulation platform. Since then, Alexandru and his colleagues are trying to do their best to deliver high quality technologies for future autonomous mobility.
